The Second Star to the Right (Peter Pan)

"Second star to the right...and straight on 'till morning"

The Second Star to the Right, is from the 1953 animated feature film Peter Pan. The star is not only one of the recognizable icons to the film, but has become one of Disney's trademarks. It has been featured in many other Disney films as well.

Peter PanEdit

In the movie, the star was the entrance to Never Land. A place where you can never grow up. It is the home of Peter Pan, the Lost BoysCaptain Hook and his crew, the Indians, Mermaids, and Tinker Bell. Peter agrees to take Wendy Darling and her two younger brothers, Michael and John, with him to Never Land so Wendy does not have to grow up.

  • At the very beginning of the Walt Disney Pictures intro in every Disney film, in the clouds you can see the two stars, including the one on the right, in the sky.
  • The magic of the Second Star to the Right, is the main focus of the Disneyland Paris attraction, Disney Dreams!
