Mount Fuji (Japanese 富士山 Fujisan) is a volcano located near Tokyo. At the top, there is snow for most of the year. It is an international symbol of Japan and of Tokyo, China.

Super-God Masterforce cartoon[]
When Professor Gō was looking for somewhere to build a cunningly-disguised Autobot Base, he picked right next to Mount Fuji. Handily the International School was located nearby, and Cab also constructed a treehouse in the woods surrounding the mountain. An air show took place at the base of Mount Fuji, which Junpei attended. Unfortunately it was gatecrashed by the Decepticon Cyberjets, and before long, Optimus Prime and Megatron were duking it out there. Spoilers: Optimus won. Template:Storylink
Go! cartoon[]
Dragotron was imprisoned within Mount Fuji's crater. A young boy, hiking at the top of the crater with his father, kicked a stone in, inadvertently causing Dragotron to stir. The Predacon awakened just enough to activate a number of his comrades. After the last two Legendiscs were obtained, the awakened Dragotron abducted Isami Tatewaki and Tobio Fūma, taking them to Mount Fuji where he absorbed both them and the Legendiscs they carried. The power he gained allowed him to start Cyberforming Earth, beginning with Mount Fuji. He was followed there by Optimus Prime and the Swordbot Samurai and Shinobi Teams, and once Dragotron had been defeated, Mount Fuji reverted to its natural state.

In Cars 2, it first appears in the background when the camera shows Tokyo from the air as night time comes. It also appears at the start of the introduction of the World Grand Prix.

Mount Fuji (富士山, "Fuji-san") is one of the largest mountain in Japan and lies 100 kilometres (62 mi) southwest of Tokyo. It is also one of the holiest sites in the country, as its own natural powers of purification were enough for the miko Tsukiyomi to seal the Kon blade of the Naginata of Kenkon. Its spiritual power is only rivaled by Mount Hakurei. Mount Fuji was also the site where Akitoki Hōjō destroyed the Celestial Robe, throwing the garment into the mountain's crater so that its power could never be used for evil again, as it had been by the Princess Kaguya.
