McGuffin

McGuffin is a location that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a small town where people like Sonic and hold a big annual celebration in his honor called "Sonic Appreciation Day".

Description[]

Like many of the towns on Mobius, McGuffin has a cartoon-like architecture. For Sonic Appreciation Day it is decorated with Sonic posters and banners in honor of the hero.

History[]

The town was threatened by Scratch and Grounder who tracked him down in the Monster Robot Tracking Device and at Dr. Robotnik's command, flatten it with the Robo-Roller. Sonic lost his Hi-tops during his stay at the Plazoid hotel, but managed to stop the Robo-Roller and recovered his missing shoes from Harry the Hucker.

Points of interest[]

Plazoid Hotel: The building that Sonnette jumped from for Sonic's attention and where Sonic stayed for Sonic Appreciation Day.
Ramp: A racing track constructed for Sonic to used for his speed demonstration. Sonic tricked Scratch and Grounder with the ramp destroying the Robo-Roller.

A "MacGuffin" is an object or device in a story which serves merely as a trigger for the plot. The town is named after the word as it is where the story takes place.
