The Employee ID Card

The Employee ID Card is an object that appears in Sonic the Hedgehog's storyline in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut. It is used to unlock the entrance to Speed Highway in the Station Square Adventure Field.

Description

The Employee ID Card is a white rectangular identification document, with written text and red outlines on it, for employees of a unspecified business, though it is possibly for Cyber-net inc. employees. It appears exclusively in Sonic's storyline, where it can be found on the triangle-shaped patch of grass in front of the hotel after completing Twinkle Park.

The Employee ID Card is to be picked up by the player and taken to the steel gate at the Cyber-net Inc. building in the Station Square Adventure Field (the tallest building). Once the player stands before the steel gate while holding the Employee ID Card, the gate will automatically open and grant the player access to Speed Highway.

Trivia

• The game models of the ID Card is used again to initiate missions in Mission Mode. Touching the mission cards will begin the objective. However these cards cannot be picked up as they will disappear once the mission begins and permanently after the mission is cleared.
